Laura and Michelle with the
1996 Atlanta Olympic Torch Tower
In the fall of 2006, the Olin family drove from Gull Lake to Atlanta, Georgia to visit Tam's family. While there, we took the opportunity to tour the Big Peach.
We visited the Martin Luther King National Historic Site (including his birthplace and Ebenezer Baptist Church), the Carter Center (location of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library), iconic Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, Atlanta Hard Rock Cafe, CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park, and the obligatory stop at The Varsity.
It is amazing what one adventuresome family can do in just one day!!
